What I don't understand is that they have high tech capabilities, and it's not connected to the internet, it doesn't have any decent shooters, and it's filled with kid games. What the hell?!
Newer games have better engines for more power. Either that, or the developers are just using more stylized graphics. In my opinion, I prefer a unique and different visual style than an ultra realistic one.
It has internet connection. The connection for Brawl is pretty poor, but every game since then is pretty seamless. That, and over 500 downloadable games.
The Conduit, The Grinder and Red Steel 2 are promising to be great shooters. For games that are already out, try CoD:WaW, Metroid Prime 3 and Medal of Honor: Heroes 2. It also has a bunch of on-rails shooters, such as house od dead 2 and 3, or Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles.
As for violent games in general, wii has Madworld, No More Heroes, Manhunt 2, Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, The Godfather: Blackhand Edition, the upcoming Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, etc.
Besides, what's wrong with a non-violent game? Super Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, WarioWare, and the "all-play" sports games are all games that will have you going for a long time. Violence does not make a game, you need to understand that. Sometimes, a game does need violece, or more violence. But not all good games do.
