i sadly had the same thing happen. When myspace was big I decided to join. Eventually my entire family basically joined and I had to stop. Was going to make a facebook but now my mom and dad joined that also.

One time, I read a news report about how buttfuckingly loads of parents joined Facebook with the intent of spying on their children.

I am glad I don't use Facebook.

My mom doesn't have a Facebook account, but my dad, his dad (my grandfather), all 5 of his siblings, and my oldest cousins (all younger than me) all have me added on Facebook, for at least the past 6-7 months. So I know how awkward it is, which is why I try not to put down anything too personal or revealing on there.

I discovered that my mom has a Facebook when I was using her laptop, hit the back button, and found myself at one of my friends profiles. I asked her why she was looking and she just said she wanted to know who I was friends with. It doesn't really bother me because she doesn't try to add me. Its kind of weird that she looks at my friends, but oh well. She says she doesn't look at my profile, but I don't believe. I've never gotten in trouble for it so I don't really care.
