Alien Hominid quarantined.

I ordered an Alien Hominid plush and today I found out the poor little guy was quarantined while trying to enter the country! Obviously I want to keep the little guy so so I'm won't have him destroyed or deported so I'm left with two options:

1. Cut the little guy open and let them inspect his mysterious "unknown bean" like insides and if they are deemed unsafe ripping his guts out and discarding them, keeping only the skin.

2. Blast him with gamma radiation until he is deemed safe. This keeps his insides intact but there's a chance of discolouration.

While I do find some humour in this it has been quarantined and I have until the end of this month (June 30, 2009) to make my decision. what do you think he's filled with and what should I do?

I would go for the gamma radiation. If it does get discoloured, at least you can bleach it and then re-dye it again.

I might try that, I don't think it's a problem on their end but there could've been a problem with the way it was declared(this is for sending to Australia), who do you think I should PM or how to contact them quickly?

Before I tell the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service to do that I've decided to inform the staff including as much detail as I can from the quarantine notice via the store email and will wait as long as possible for a reply.

It will be coming from the email I currently have set up on my account here and I'll send it within the hour and I'll follow the recommendations I've been given for informing senders.
