TomFulp asked me to supply an image of the controller once I have sprayed my prototype.

It just looks a bit too plain...

Hell, I'd buy it. I'm down one SNES controller, and I've been looking for another one all week.
If your console is PAL then buy a gameCOMMANDER. I got loads of controllers. Here's a list that you could choose from.
But regardless of which type of SNES you have, you can always get the really cheap cloned controllers. I've never had one, but I'm going to and they're multi-regional.
If you want to buy one of them then here's where you can get the cheapest possible offer. But if you're willing to spend $200 or more on a website where you can get them for $1.75 each then go here.

Oh well. I'm too lazy to check peoples accounts. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck though.
Thanks.

Make sure you do all the spraying outside, and leave the controller, its parts and the spray cans somewhere where the fumes won't get to you.
Of course, I know the drill.
I once made the mistake of spraypainting a shit load of numbers onto some wood for a project I was working on, in my bedroom, and then I went to sleep for eight or so hours with the window and door closed.
Oh dear.
I had pounding headaches and nosebleeds for two weeks afterwards.
Dude, did you go to the hospital?
There was a fine layer of paint on my floor and around my room as well, meaning that I must've inhaled a seriously dangerous amount of the stuff overnight.
Totally.
Anyway, when I read your first post I thought of a Zelda controller, so since that was one of your ideas I think you should go with that.
Yeah, I'm crafting some triforce stencil.

Why not keep it normal?
That way it's just...original and just..normal.
Because I'm buying these controllers to paint, they look like shit but they're multi-regional and functional.

I've always wanted a black / metallic silver controller. I think it would look awesome.
The black'n'white RetroDuo controller looks like that, but it's silver, not metalic silver.
Pardon my lame ass attempt to add some "white shine" to is.
Well, that is a good idea, however my silver paint is silver paint, not metallic grey. My black is metallic though. It wouldn't be like perfectly smooth reflection metallic silver even if I did have the can, it's not mirror paint, but it will work a bit like that.

No matter what type of acrylic paint it is, it will start rubbing off sooner or later, and you'll have to keep repainting it.
I think the pink PS2 I have is painted and it doesn't look like it's going to fall off. I mean, the paint I'm using is for cars.
Another thing you might try is Sharpies since they come in several colors now. If all else fails you could try enamel model paint like what Testors makes.
I'm happy with testing what I have.
One day I'm going to get a few more gameCOMMANDER 1 controllers so I can spray one of them. Though, I'd love to get a gameCOMMANDER 2.
