Howshall I Paint Mysnes Controller?

How shall I paint my SNES controller? I am ordering 3 acrylic paints with metallic effects.
The colours are Black, Gold and Silver. What kind of stencil designs should I put on my PAL Super Nintendo Entertainment System controller?

Here's a diagram to draw on in those 3 colours (if anybody can tell me where I can get acrylic Pink paint then please do!).

Because the value increases if it looks good and it feels good to be using something on my favourite console that looks nice.

Good idea, I should try to add that on the NG-Market. They make cheap NTSC replacement controllers, I should see if those controllers are perfect for playing with and then use them to paint on. It would mean cheap stock and more profit.

I don't have any specialistic equipment for printing, I'm just a stencil artist (but I do print stickers).

Good design, my original idea was Orange. However I think everything should blend together better with the tank. Also, that original texture around the buttons would emphasize the fact that it's a Super Nintendo controller.

I could do that. I would need different shades of orange and good stencilling. I've done this kind of graphic in school just from using spray cans, however it would be easier if Tom Fulp provided me with wrap-around stickers to make it with.

Lol, I have 2 PAL consoles and I've bought an NTSC version (with full box and manuals) which will arrive either tomorrow or the day after.

I am planning to buy the really cheap universal SNES controllers and spray them, I can test those controllers on my NTSC SNES too so functionality is guarantee-able.

On this site I can buy universal (PAL, NTSC & JAP) SNES controllers for $4.90 each and be able to sell them for a higher price. However, if I am successful I will be able to afford the $200 minimum for buying 115 controllers at $1.75 dollars each. Making a total of $201.25 which is £123.64 + shipping for me.

This will mean that I can sell the controllers for $15 instead of $20.

I AM TAKING THE COVERS OFF AND SPRAYING THE PARTS WITH ACRYLIC SPRAY PAINT YOU TIT!!

It won't rub off, acrylic paint is designed for this kind of stuff. It's what they use for racing car graphics and touch up paint.

I've tested my gold spray can, it looks perfect.

Personally, I wouldn't paint a classic controller, such as the SNES one. If you have a spare Xbox 360 controller or something similar, there's one for you. Plus, there's a load of YouTube tutorials on how to take apart the 360 controller - doubt there's many on the SNES controller.

You could paint a PS2 controller, a PS1 or something - not a rare or valuable one.
