It's not a big deal. It's just that the image that suggest supporting the site is, in fact, an advertisement. As a joke, I can chuckle along, but as a permanent addition, it makes me want to cringe and express my views, whether they matter or not.

I understand the intentions, as well as the irony of replacing an adblocking glitch with another advertisement. That doesn't refute my position, however.
And I find there to be nothing more arrogant and obnoxious than a two sentence response to several paragraphs of thoughtful opinion.
