Illegal immigration and ESPECIALLY Prop 13 and Arnold is blamed for California's fiscal insolvency?

Does no one remember Gray Davis? No one can handle Californias budget problems because of Prop 13. Until that gets rescinded (which will never happen) dont plan on any change.

Actually, from a liberal point of view, if you really want to blame someone, you would blame Saddam Hussein because he started the Iran-Iraq war that lead to the Iran Hostage Crisis which in turn lead to Jimmy Carter's loss of popularity which meant Reagan came to office where he changed the tax system.

So blame Hussein for something else.

Iran-Hostage Crisis: Started on 4 November 1979.
Iran-Iraq War: Started on 22 September 1980.
Jimmy Carter's popularity: The fall of the Shah of Iran (something that actually led to the Hostage crisis) and ruined his prestige at home and abroad. Then there is the misery index, where inflation was rampant while income stagnated. Inept handling of the Hostage Crisis.

I'll agree with you on that. A government agent has no right to mandate the minimum or maximum wage a private sector institution pays it's employees.

Don't you just love California? They ask for all sorts of shit, amongst it a 9 billion dollar bullet train, and in the same breath ask for their taxes to be cut to lower levels, even though the state is losing money. WTF?

OH NO! How ever will my school continue to purchase $5,000 Television sets and multimillion dollar classrooms? Why, we might even have to stop purchasing $30,000 computer labs that only get used a small portion of the school day! Why, we might even have to do what those barbarians at the American Indian Public Charter School in Oakland do, and rely on COMPETENT TEACHERS!
