BTW: I do want to ask this to the mod, I think this is common sense, but if we answer a question (and no more discussion is really nessessary), can we say /Thread or would we be banned? (GoS stated that your probably not going to be banned if the op himself said /Thread but if someone who answered it accurately said /Thread would it be bad?)

Like Poozy said, it's down to context.

I still think that if you put it after you've answered a question in a thread, it assumes that YOUR answer is the one and only best answer, even if that might not be the case. Someone might be able to expand on your answer, for example.

Just don't use it. It's never necessary to use it, so don't.

Can we still use "/thread" if we're just making reference to it?

Maybe we can say as a way to end our process of thought. Like "/thought" for example. This way we are saying that it the end of our process.

It's when users put what they say and then indirectly say that the thread should be locked.

In other words, it a way of saying that their opinion is sufficient and the thread has served it's purpose.
