Dolphins: The Real Sentient Beings?

Do you think that dolphins might eventually become smarter than us humans? I mean, their means of communication through a series of clicks is simply amazing. Even we don't have a unified world language, something these creatures had already developed thousands of years before we could even speak. The average dolphin probably has more leadership ability and teamwork compatibility than most humans.

I think that at some point, when dolphins have evolved further, they will achieve all we have in a much quicker time period.

So you're saying we should eliminate all the dolphins so that we can remain the dominant species on our planet?

If our role in the world is threatened, we'll just shoot them all. Humanity is a bitch like that.

Springfield already tried that. As you can see from the end of that Treehouse of Horror, things didn't turn out so hot.

A certain Simpsons episode comes to mind.

Also without opposable thumbs they'll get no where.

The Dolphins will probly get a wild card spot, but I think the Patriots will win the AFC east this upcoming season

I find this ironic because I'm right in the middle of reading that book.

What a shame, Mister Jensen.

I never asked for this, Mister Denton.

They already are smarter than we are. We are the third smartest creature on Earth, behind dolphins and mice.

I read a credible source that said they might have ruled the world if they only went up with man instead of seeing what happens.

Credible source is Least I Could Do.

Could humans and dolphins possibly evolved from a common ancestor, them being our water equals?

no. not even arguable.

maybe just you though.

I think that at some point, when dolphins have evolved further, they will achieve all we have in a much quicker time period.

I don't think so.

Why would they have to achieve it, when we already have? We share the same planet.

Have they even developed primitive tools? Ones that they can even 'grasp' ;)

Is their language even 1/100000 as extensive as the human language?

Hopefully no one believed this.

If these creatures did have a higher learning capacity than humans it would be truly noticeable.

And even if they did, they are still incredibly ignorant. Which still puts human much higher.

Chimpanzee's have better memories than humans. We are not as ugly as they are.

Which still puts humans much higher.

Mice are the actual sentient beings, silly.

Dolphins are ahead of humans by 1 spot.

The planet is made to answer the Great Question, and mice are superior.
Oh my god!! You're right.
He's right you know.
Yes.

Hopefully it won't give us that stupid "42" answer again.

Well.

Shit.
