NOOOO I was still learning how to use FL7!!! Now I'll be tempted to use the flashy new things they got and deny the older, more simple synths etc. The older stuff seems way more powerful still..unless you like to sprinkle glitter all over your songs.

eh. i have a friend who still uses fl studio 5. the newer ones are definitely better, but some people still enjoy the older versions. i'm soon gonna try out 8.5. it should be a major improvement.

You should just get FL 8, the Limiter plugin does an amazing job at preventing peaking, it makes mastering much, much easier
