Lack of "good" zombie sandbox games

Isn't Dead Rising kinda sandbox?

Anyway I agree with you, I want an open world RPG set in a zombie infested world. I'm a consumer, and the consumer should get what he wants. MMO would be fantastic but I'll be fine with single player.

i guess dead rising is kinda sandbox, but you only really have the story to play, theres no real survival aspect on the go...

Survival mode. Al tho I don't really like that. You lose health way too fast and most of the time you're fighting humans

Garrysmod 10 has some zombie modes out there. I recall some of them being sandbox.

I heard there was this one Zombie mod in development for GTA4 PC, It was probably abandoned tho.
Would've been cool, having the civilians as zombies, driving around in NYC.

yeah that game is very epic lots of paths you can take and as much zombies as you can shoot

Try Fort Zombie. The graphics aren't exactly up to current-gen standards, but I hear it's pretty good.

Most of you will probably hate it, but you guys should seriously try it. UrbanDead is the most fun, extensive, and amazing text based RPG ever.

I'm actually in the Army Control Corps in this game, a clan made up of military focused users. We're taking out zeds (zombies) out of neighborhoods in a suburb called Millen Hills, re barricading homes, defending malls.

I think it would be excellent if there was an add on for GTA IV, where the city is infested with zombies, Dead Rising style. Driving through these and watching there limbs fly everywhere would be fantastic.

I remember downloading an amazing mod for the PC version of Vice City eons ago where there was a shit ton of zombies instead of pedestrians, it sounds simple but it was magnificant. It'll be somewhere on the net if you want to check it out.
