Why do you losers keep getting Twitter? WHY? It IS pointless. I know you have an uncontrollable urge to download every free chat messaging software (Skype, AIM, Messenger etc.) , but why Twitter. The only reason you have it is because it's one gigantic fad and you want to be apart of it.

I tried it when Wade did the whole ng rss thing. Didn't like it.
I don't see it as a a conformist movement, I just think social networking is really big theses days.

Peoples problem with twitter: They see it as "What are you doing?" and nothing more. Twitter is not face book updates, it's a way to communicate with everyone easily. If I release a new CD and I have 1000 followers, I can tweet "new cd!" and 1,000 followers will see this message.
It's simple communication on a large scale, it's NOT "I'm taking a piss lol".

Twitter misleads you, the proper interesting people don't just use it to tell you what they're doing, they use it to broadcast messages, things they've found interesting, etc etc. here's my homepage, with some tweets from people I follow:

It's obvious you don't understand Twitter as you can simply unfollow someone if they post crap like that and you aren't interested in it. You follow people you WANT to follow and are interested in.

I dislike social networking sites. I only use Twitter at the moment to keep up with my voice acting stuff. It's nice to look back on it and say "Oh yeah, I did those lines already."

I tried Twitter once. Did NOT like it. I was never really interested in what my friends were doing especially when it was Useless, Which was most of the time.

Text messaging is private and to a single person, twitter is to everyone. Imaging text messaging as a conversation, you're in a room with one other person, twitter is like standing on a stage and shouting to everyone listening to you, they can all hear at the same time and reply.
