Cthulu? I looked him up and from what I can tell all he is is a giant sea monster. I know that at least one of the RAB's use it, and I've seen many other flashes with him. So, Newgrounds, why?

NG loves anything with curses and prank calls and such. such as in the episode of Billy and Mandy, where they have the phone of cthulu. thats more true to the actual legend than anything modern.

NG isn't obsessed with Cthulu at all. There's just a couple of flashes about him. He's sort of a D&D nerd figure, since H.P. Lovecraft's work (where Cthulu is from) is a popular fantasy read.

The Cthulu Mythos is pretty cool but I can only recall seeing like 1 flash where it's referenced. Thought this topic would be about dick jokes or something because lame shit like that is much more common. It would be a refreshing change if the kids here were more interested in something like Cthulu.

Cthulhu isn't a sea monster, he's a god whos asleep under water. It's pretty cool reads, I picked up the Necronomicon (a book of almost all of Lovecraft's stuff) definitely a good buy.
