you know, i totally agree. long ago i felt that bush was up there with slime molds for intelligence, but since 9-11 i cant help but feel hes an evil bastard whose crew has learned how to manipulate tragedy for personal gain.

I still think Bush is in with the slime moulds for intelligence, but his 'crew' (administraion) have always been very intelligent.

Karl Rove is a very intelligent strategist, and Dick Cheney is one of the best political organizers of the modern day. They've been taking notes from Machiavelli in how to control crowds and use vague wording to appeal to the most possible voters. By no means is the Bush Administration in any way inept except for its lack of plans for what happens AFTER they win.

I think that's why we need another mod. All the really regular ones have buggered off. (Shrike, Jonas, Ted). They don't post a lot.

We all know you're around, but having an active mod gives a bit of authority to the forum, without even banning anyone.

People call Bush stupid out of anger or disappointment...but really, it's not a party issue to say he's intelligent. Being intelligent doesn't make him right on any of the issues he's taken a stance on, it just makes you sound a bit more -- mature -- than the rest.

Let's look at this in perspective: Who here would actually make a GOOD mod, someone who knows the ropes, how much people can twist the rules, and where it stops, how to keep the conversations here intelligent and generally bloodless as possible? And finally, someone who knows how to bring the hammer down hard enough that people get the idea that they're doing something they're not supposed to.

I'm here daily, reviewing topics for about an hour, posting if something's good. The problem isn't that I've not been posting -- it's that there's been nothing decent to post on.

It all depends on where these flash toons are located. I get the feeling the average NewGrounds user doesn't want to have a political opinion thrown at them unless it's about bombing Saddam or Osama (I took the opposite route, and my game(s) weren't ranked very well).
