The only compliant I have, Is the new Survivors. I love the current ones, and Want them to stay, even if they can get bit of annoying :D.

Yes, because game engines never get updated do they..

If you own any source game you'll notice the pretty constant updates to the engine that are downloaded every week or so, usually packed with small gameplay changes in TF2, L4D..

The Source engine isn't the prettiest, but it's pretty and it's functional. Just because it's 5 years old it doesn't mean it's the same engine as it was 5 years ago.

But the original game dosen't have melee weapons and fire ammo, nor does it have chargers.

I can't see what they are going to add to the gameplay that will make it much better than L4D. Don't get me wrong, L4D is far from a perfect game, but I just think it's a bit too soon. Unless of course this is just DLC for L4D, which it should be.

I'm fucking pissed about this. Why? Because, left4dead hasn't been out a year yet, and they're coming out with number 2 in november. Why is this bad? Well, for starters, they're using the EXACT SAME ENGINE. 4 Different survivors, melee weapons (which most people wont use) and new campaigns. Why is this bad?

IT SHOULD BE IN A FUCKING PATCH, NOT AN ENTIRE NEW GAME.

So, basically, It's the same exact game only with MINOR changes which could and should have been added in a content patch. So now, we've got to pay another $60 for the same game. this is beyond retarded, and a stupid move by valve for doing this.

I was surprised too, and at first I was hating valve for it too. But I think we should wait and see before condemning something we know so few about.

Oh boo hoo. Valve hasn't been greedy once in the past. They made the HL1 series one dollar each at a time, they make tons of special deals for their games. And now you people are calling them money grabbing theives. How do you even know it'll be 50$ or 60$? Valve makes ton of greats deals, and I wouldn't be surprised if L4D2 was cheaper.
