Nobody is stopping them. People have opinions on a forum and so they express them. This is a topic that has countering opinions and so a thread is a perfect place for it.

Also as I've said before its not the principle of charging for it thats the issue. The issue (for me) was TAKING DOWN originally free things and then charging for it. To me thats dumb.
From a business standpoint i dont see the logic, and it just makes him look like a dick and ruins positive public perception which does help sell products. I mean look at the Sham Wow. That guy has a charming personality. ok bad example.

exactly because chances are that will hurt sells by a lot.

If the dvd was really for the fans it would include new content in there rather than the same shit you see online for free.

It's not like a lot of us didn't see this coming.

james farr always had those red flags as a warning but it is still sad since he basically spat on his fans even while they supported him even when he was acting like an ass.

hell, he could have even moved alway from the direction of xombie and made a profit off of something completely new he created.

At the very least james farr could have released a dvd that includes traditional animation or make his flash animation do shit that it can't on the internet.

James farr will lose popularity like he should but if his fans are as dumb as illwillpress than i fear for the human race.

I didn't even think it was that good, it has amazing animation, but it wasn't anything that would make me want to go out and buy a DVD just to watch it.

I noticed that quite awhile ago; I'm glad I watched all of the episodes before they were blocked.

Anyway, I'm sure somebody has already uploaded all of the episodes on to YouTube by now.

I haven't seen it, might watch it sometime. And it is in the famous characters pictures, so must speak for something.

One thing's for sure though, the Xombie flashes had really nice menu screens.

And the Xar-Ggothua (The Hands of God) were interestingly designed.

Great series. I watched them all a long time ago.

I was actually thinking of getting the comic book ending thing, but it didn't seem very enjoyable.

I saw this coming a few years back, I believe. I remember I was watching one of his episodes and it was pretty short, and at the end it had Xombie advertising a book, which was longer than the episode itself.

Pretty sure I called him a sellout, but yeah, when I read the title I already knew what to expect.

I was able to watch it. Just search for it.

This probaly means the dvd won't be any better than the flashes on newgrounds, whether the flashes are disabled or not, only true fans will buy them anyway.
