Nah, he played it the first time and remembered it. However, I'm assuming something happened so he lost Silent Hill. He bought it again recently and his memories of Silent Hill differ from what he's playing.

Well i've beaten the game and well it has those scary aspects but it isnt like the originals. It lacks that dark tone. I dont know how to explain it but from Silent Hill 1-4 it had that grasp of darkness. This one didnt have it as much since it didnt really revolve around the story, it had a similarity like Silent Hill 2. Still the game was good, not to happy about certain endings though =/.
