Well, I'm not really here to argue over the buddhist religion... the conversation has gotten way off point. The point, is that you can't really make this argument as cut and dry as you want it to be. You can't just say "Killing a fetus is murder" because I could easily argue that killing a fly is murder and yet, you do it all the time.

Why is it ok to kill flys and ants but it's not ok to kill a fetus? You can't just say 'common sense' because 'common sense' to a large majority of the population says 'all life is equally important'.

That's B.S. right there. He had a degree to practice medicine. He could have chosen from literally dozens of specialized fields, as a doctor. Yet, he chose to be an abortionist. The media doesn't cover it, and doctors don't openly speak about it; but abortionists are looked down upon by other doctors.

monocrom, i don't want you to take this the wrong way, i respect you as a user, but you're misleading people and using weighted wording. the births are induced. they are not nine month pregnancies being tapped in the head like a keg. they're usually 16-24 weeks depending on the state laws. he was in fact performing a polarizing, but legal, practice. whether or not he's a worthwhile person to go into that practice, probably not. but it's beside the point. he didn't deserve to die.

Although I don't know much about these late abortion things and how relevant they are to the baby being alive but being a general person who doesn't think babies are babies until they aren't inside someone else I think this is ungodly sad.

The one thing I do like is although for other reasons I don't like our president, I do like that he was pissed off by this, I think this is a giant load of bullshit and this chump needs to die. Actually, he needs to starve to death.

Does a child really need to die to fit the Mother's wishes? Does a fetus really need to die? Why has it come down to it being considered "okay" to kill a fetus in its late-term? No worries. I understand that your post above was not a personal attack.

While some of the abortions were no doubt legal, he did have a reputation for performing late-term abortions. Depending on how late, some of those may have indeed been illegal. Someone with that type of reputation, and he wasn't investigated by the AMA?? Something's wrong there.

I agree with you that he didn't deserve to get killed... He should have been investigated, and dealt with; properly. As for plastic surgeons, well; who else is going to help all the ugly people out there? ;)
