this. honestly, how could they not add a second thumbstick? I was looking forward to it. oh well, if it turns out garbage I guess I'll have to wait for a 360 portable or something like that.

they didn't add a new thumbstick because its not a psp 2 its a new version of the original psp, like the psp 2000 and the psp 3000

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm getting really bored with this new trend of releasing new hardware units every 6 months.

I know companies need to aim to be making profits, but re-releasing essentially the same thing over and over is a little bit of a piss take.

Granted this one seems a massive step up than usual, but this is the fourth iteration of this console.

I refuse to buy unless they give a way to transport old UMD games over/give Europe PSN vouchers.

They won't do either.
I do plan to get a PSP at some point, as Jak and Daxter, LittleBigPlanet and Kingdom Hearts will probably justify the purchase alone. It just will probably be a 3000, and not this suspiciously MYLO looking thing.

It's not a bad design, just not a great one. What's more embarrassing for Sony and what many have pointed out is, someone made a mockup fairly similar to this that looked helluva lot sexier.

A professional company can't do what a photoshop guy can.

Well I hate slidephones or any other "slide" technology so that rules it out. plus, that screen is so thin, especially when it's folded out that it's asking to be broken.
