Thanks, let's hope the judges share your exquisite (ahem) taste.

Thanks!
I quite like how this one turned out; even though it's part of rob's existential adventure. I'm glad about the eyes and lips; they look like there is some life in them.
and this one was for the shape challenge... more poeple should join that, it's a fun exercise!
And a portrait based on Aigis' character Emi Tatsumi:

Art is vast as Love is deep, Trying to Explain the two is like trying to discover everything there is about the ocean.

Some of your portraits and human drawings like that one there have an odd over-perfect feel about them, where they look overly smooth & rounded, as if they are bio-mechanical humans made by some highly intelligent life form to live in our place. The way you draw them, big eyes, mechanicalness, reminds me of this. The big eyes

True that, especially on that emi piece, I intentianally gave her quite big eyes, cause she had big eyes in aigis' original I think.

Thanks,
'nother 30 minutes in, the amount of brush strokes in this is killing me...
should prolly include the pic eh?
Full pic is about 2,5 times as wide, and a bit higher... but there's not a lot of interest going on there.

Oh this is pretty cool J-qb.. It seems a bit like a throwback to oldschool futurism like this thing to me. But not in any bad sense :)

Thanks man, yeah I guess it's similar in a way; Boccioni actually said about that piece:
It seems clear to me that this succession is not to be found in repetition of legs, arms and faces, as many people have stupidly believed, but is achieved through the intuitive search for the unique form which gives continuity in space.
Which is cool since I initially wanted to have repetition of legs and arms, but decided not to go for that eventually.
I guess this one is similar to that last one... referenced from this
what is it with me and uploading pictures....

I like that one, very stylized!
Kinda reminds me of a scene from The Wall (2:53).

for a a second I thought it was a lizard!
I'm done with this... painted each hair on the face individually, switched to a custom brush for the body, that's why it's a mess.

And 'nother... three years in the art forum yay
some months it was hard to pick which was my best, other months it was hard to find a pic that was at least somewhat okay...
