I would ask you people to STOP SENDING PM'S TO ALVIN about when is the next SMBZ episode coming out. I somehow fell his pain when sobebody comments or sends a pm that says : 'wow cool, when is the next episode coming out ?' or 'cool, make more 'etc. Otherwise he WILL STOP MAKING THEM . He already did that for episode 7 but reconsiderd. He is doing his best. But he won't spend all day on his computer just for us. He has his own life and when he is in a mod he will continue. Some users alredy were sending PM's to Andrew Raskin ( authors of bowsers kindom) so he stoped and will forever making bowsers kindom. Congrats guys >:-( ! I highly doubt he actually comes into physical contact with any of them, i bet he hasn't even heard any of their voices. He gets fucking PMs asking him when his new series is out. No offense but you are kind of speaking for them. I know they are probably tired of getting pms about it but i don't think he will stop making them untill he is ready to. Andrew Raskin needed to move on, his movies were funny but he was limiting himself to already made sprites. I think it was better for him and i'm not so sure he stopped because of pms. i do like the point you are making though, i would hate to be bombarded with pms all day.

Dude, doberman7 is right, the series is full of corny jokes, cheesy fight scenes, style clashing sprites, and worst of all-it's a Mario/Sonic crossover. The 6th one was the only good one.

Seriously there's nothing to it; I tried watching the latest one, and what I saw was a fanfiction written by a 10 year old high on caffeine come to life in the form of a lackluster sprite animation. Seriously; like the fight scenes are boring, the jokes are lame, and it's shit.

I hate this series it needs to stop now. Unlike Egoraptor, Alvin has the luck of having the most shitty fanbase, so we're cursed with having to see this shitstain curse Newgrounds for all it's life.

If he's getting tired of getting PM's he should block all the people annoying the shit out of him, I feel for the guy I like his series and flash is a time consuming process that is annoying at times but jeez do it for yourself. not whineing fanboys who have nothing better than beg for a long time and never get it, a few flash series' that I have seen have only made to an episode 7 like stop and was never heard of again like Julius Saves the Mushroom Kingdom I ended at episode 7 and was never heard from again. I've been waiting for three years But I never once bugged the creator to move your ass the make your next thriller...just take your time and It will be the best

Lay off the guy let's see you make an epic 30 minute long flash that has a story that all the newer mario games should. SMBZ has originality to it yes the sprites were not his, but he has made custom ones and has good skills but do you know how long those skills take hours and hours that lead to days. I've been working on a flash movie myself and I'm a quarter of the way started, but I have not worked on It in weeks because I'm bored with flash animating sprites is a long difficult process why do you have to hate this flash sprite art...give me an anwser why you hate it TELL ME! He tried to combine mario and sonic, which is like a crime considering the awesomeness of mario and the suckyness of sonic. And as if that weren't bad enough he tried to use DBZ to tie it together. this man deserves to die for defacing mario, and I will let god determine a punishment for all of his followers (and it won't be pleasant.)

I guess the animation in the movies is decent, but the rest is shit.

It's probably because you don't like sprites. I know that there are a lot of sprite haters on NG, but SMBZ is a pretty good series if you give it a shot, doberman7 and Talio17.

I personally like the SMBZ series. Alvin takes typical sprite animation and really pushes the limits of what you can animate with sprites. I love the effects used in the battle scenes, and the corny story is actually a bit of a drawing factor for me.

Some people hate the hell out of the series, but that's just their opinion. If you take a look at the some thousands of reviews, you'll see quite a bit of people beg to differ. It mainly depends on whether sprite animation is your thing.

If you love watching sprite movies, (A.K.A. Sprite T.V., Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom, etc.) then Alvin-Earthworm's series will have more of an appeal to you. If you hate all forms of sprite animations, and like to see entirely original graphics, then its not the series for you.

So, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and you shouldn't give a damn if someone else thinks different.

SMBZ... Your usual Dragon Ball Z with Mario and Sonic parody, No flamewar intended it's good for a sprite movie series but not the best to have so much fanatics, Zero catacylsm or whatever it's called that sprite movie that takes place in the megaman zero universe is far better then smbz imo yet it's mostly forgotten, Anyways I totally agree with you Tetka about people cluttering him with PM's it's annoying but he could just block them and I imagine he already did so.
