I think I would tie bricks to my feet and shoot myself while on the edge of a bridge. That way my death would be quick and painless, plus my body would go to the bottom of the lake and maybe never be found again.

I wouldn't leave a note or an explanation. That seems pointless to me, once I'm dead it's over and I wont have anything to leave behind or anyone left to talk to. I wouldn't kill myself for emotional reasons, I'd do it when it would be most acceptable and logical. I would probably take a combination of pills that let me drift away painlessly.
