Viridis Art Thread

Hey hey hey. With my new username I figured I'd better create a new art thread. Even though I don't draw as much anymore I've been doing some today and I'm really enjoying it so who knows.

First things first. This is my current thingy which I'm doing as I type this. It started out as a drawing of my girlfriend but... I got creative. I <3 her face.

ArtRage 2. But I use Flash and Photoshop for the most part.

Well it wasnt properly centered before, I just started drawing randomly in the middle of the page. And I plan on having this as my desktop background when I'm done so I prefer it on the right :3
As for the background there will be mroe in it, but I'm a sucker for swirls. :3

Naaww you're doing fine. Only thing I'd suggest is making the shading a little more natural looking than being a tad blocky?

It's good, but I believe the lighting's off - unless I'm looking at it wrong? I'm guessing it should be coming around from the bottom left of the frame, but some of the shading negates that theory.

Blocky shading is pretty much all I'M capable of in mspaint. :D

the ring finger doesnt really look like its bending forward, which (i think?) its supposed to be because thats how the shadow on the pinkie finger is portraying it
