Just purchased 2000 Microsoft Points, not 10 minutes ago, and I now have 320.
Bought Fable II's Knothole Island and See The Future DLC, Mercenaries 2's Blow It Up Again DLC and Castle Crasher's King Pack DLC.
I also chose this over 3 months of Xbox LIVE Gold. Good or bad choice?

Good choice if you can only play xbox for 1 of those 3 months. For example, I could not help but feel that I had wasted my money after focusing on my studies more than touching my video games, or when I was just not in the mood to play any single game for a couple of months. Microsoft points feel better because you are not fussed in using them to the fullest extent and in some cases you can get more enjoyment from it than a simple expansion of multiplayer time.
Many people I know or on my freinds list are inactive for a couple of months at a time, so I am never happy with a three month card.

Good and Bad choice, I got the Knothole island DLC and completed it in one night, and I've heard that see the future is even shorter, I loved mercenaries 2, but did not get the DLC, and I think buying Castle crashers was a waste of money for me, so I defiantly wouldn't buy the DLC, I would've picked the Xbox Live to be honest.

Yea, I feel like that too, but at this point in time, I feel like I'd be getting better value out of my 2000 Points. Having a girlfriend and a social life kinda limits my gaming time. However, I have exam block next week, so I have the vast majority of the week off, so I'm grabbing a one month card tomorrow.

Well if you like them games then it's not a bad choice, though I wouldn't overlook XBLA titles purely because there's DLC you could get instead. Sometimes the DLC is nowhere near worth the price that it's put up for (horse armour).
As far as XBL subscription goes, depends how much you play online games.

If you enjoy the games, it's a good choice.
Although, how did you end up with 320 points? Did something cost you 80 points?
I've only ever seen things cost 200, 400, 800, 1200 points on Xbox Live.

I would say good over three months of membership. By the 13 months, a way better deal

I think this was a bad choice. You should have gotten 2000 Wii points and use it for the Wii. The Wii is so much better then the XBOX!
I'm bored. Click here and please click here.

The Mercenaries 2 and Castle Crasher's DLC were both 160.
Quite enjoying Knothole Island, at the moment.

Since I rarely ever use Live, the points would ahve been much more worth it for me. I wish I had some cash right now so I could go get the Fallout 3 expansion pack shit.

Really liking Knothole and See The Future. Have yet to try the other two DLCs.
Also, got a one month LIVE Gold card from a friend.
