Well, if you put it that way, I went 7-for-8 then! lol

Thanks?
Anyways, I'm a little upset the Flyers won tonight. After taking advantage of a soft Price, Montreal brought them heat in the 3rd. Scoring twice and getting, I think, 18 shots? As opposed to Philly's 2. I felt like they might break down again. But, good to see that Marty held on. He's finally being the starter he could have been for the Sabres.

Sean Avery: Getting what has been coming to him.
New York Rangers forward Sean Avery has been hospitalized after lacerating his spleen during a playoff loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
In a statement Wednesday, the team said the noted agitator was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center after New York's 5-3 loss Tuesday night and was admitted following a CT scan.
Avery, whose spleen was not removed and isn't expected to need surgery, likely will be hospitalized for a few days, team spokesman John Rosasco said. Michael Fagan, spokesman for St. Vincent's Medical Center, said Avery is in "stable" condition.

Can the refs be any more biased? I mean, a tripping on Foppa on a breakaway, a tripping on Jones on a quality chance and about a dozen other penalties called on the Avs, while the Wings get away with everything. I swear, Colorado would have won that game if it weren't for the officiating.
Game 4 looks a bit better, but it doesn't help that we're down by four right now.

Yea.. I figured the Avs would have made more a series out of this one. Sure doesn't help when the refs start choosing sides.
It'll probably be Wings-Stars, however, I still believe in the Sharks.
Also, battle of Pennsylvania will be a tough 7-gamer, I bet.

8-2 Final.
Looks like I have to go shave my weak 15 year old playoff moustache.
Johan Franzen is ridiculous; the way he's been playing the past 2 months is insane. 11 playoff goals, for reals?
So now that the Avs are done, that leaves a lot of questions...does Sakic come back for another run? What about Foppa and Adam Foote, do they come back for another year or do they retire or become short-term rentals? Will Colorado make attempts at re-signing Theodore, Liles, and Brunette, even after down seasons for the latter two? Do they take a gamble on another 60-game season from Svatos, or do they shop him for someone who can stay healthy for the stretch run? If Sakic comes back, does Stastny get pushed to second-line duties? Is Peter Budaj good enough to be a strong, full-season goalie, and more importantly do they have confidence in him? Has TJ Hensick shown enough in his short time up in the regular season and playoffs to warrant a regular line spot as a winger or center?

Way too many questions to answer right now, but I'd like to see Sakic and Theodore make appearances in Avs jerseys next year.
I'd like to see some proper shuffling around,a s we've not got much in the way of depth at present and it certainly shows when we play that well against the Wild and then suddenly not so hot against the Wings. Dodgy officiating or not, it's a cruel end to a tough season.
Come on Sharks! You can do it!
I don't want to have a hockey less weekend.
Not to mention Stars are big rivals.
lol Rangers.
Pittsburgh-Philly rivalry series should be alright to watch, though I'm really not interested at all. It's like a competition for who has the more effeminate player; is it Briere, or is it Crosby?

Called Philly to make the final long before the playoffs started. Not really surprised they out-muscled Montreal, and I don't doubt that they could fuck up the Pens either.
I wish the West wasn't so boring.

Only DarkSoldier would say that when the Sharks are practically beached.
However, I am hoping the beached Sharks will be like some of the sharks you find who just happen to be alive when you go over to reach inside it's mouth, and it snaps it's jaws shut.

Sharks lost? What the....Brendan Morrow....I'm coming after you for scoring that OT winning goal (no surprise, you got like 1 trillion) and for hitting Milan Michalek.

Gotta admit. That was a fucking monster hit. However, I would have liked to see Campbell come up and rape Morrow at center-ice (see also: R.J. Umberger).

Fucking RJ Umberger...I really hate Brian Burke. :(
Go Flyers though....
Still a world famous superstar.
Anybody watching the IIHF?
I watch it every year once i'm disgusted with the playoff results. It's pretty high-caliber hockey.

I read up on it every time I can, however, we don't get any TV channels for it here.

It's all-star hockey really. Always exciting to watch alongside the playoffs. They broadcast all the Canada games every year.

Who does? CBC? TSN? That would explain why I get zero IIHF games.
BTW, Canada in the final seconds. Damn Heatley.

Go Pens yo :D
So basically, it's now Wings against Pens. Sure, all the writers are saying the whole thing about it being 33 years so someone has to come back. But really, it's not going to happen. I really hope that one of the series is dragged out. I'm still in school and I'd hate for the finals to start only for me to miss every game because of time zone differences.
I'd have to say that I want the Penguins to win this one. They've worked really hard for the past few years and they really have earned it. Not to mention that the Wings are a bunch of cock juggling chode slurping twat mongerers.
I'd rather see the Wings win it, mainly because Crosby is a little bitch. I like Malkin, but I don't like Crosby or Fleury or Hossa.
Plus, Datsyuk is the shit.

Wings are boring as fuck.

Seriously, what do you have better to show than double overtime? Golf?

It's a double edged sword for me - I'm not exactly a fan of Sid, but I detest the Red Wings with a passion.
And so, the winners of the Stanley Cup 2008 were... some faggots or another.
