Well, heres the story.
My new neighbour moved in about 2 months ago, the old ones left because they needed a bigger house. I didn't really know them, so no big deal. So throughout the past 2 weeks, every night I'd wake up to yelping and stuff. I thought it was some screwed up dream, but one time I couldn't sleep and I heard it coming out of my window. I see my neighbour's garage closed, but you can see the lights coming out of the crack things. I heard some yelling and crap, and it ended about 2 minutes later.
I didn't know what to do, but I got kinda sleepy and dozed off in my room. So the next night it happens again, and I start getting suspicious. The next day I come back from school with a friend to check it out, I hear paw-steps when I go near the dude's garage door. I lift open the garage door and I see a little labrador puppy with dried blood on the floor (not alot), and it was limping and couldn't seem to use one of it's legs. My friend just yells "holy sh*t!" and I heard footsteps, so we ran back into my house.
The guy who owned the house was a mechanic, and I think he saw us. Well, about an hour later he's out in the backyard and I ask him whats going on in his garage, with the yiffs and tools hitting the floor at night. (furry naughtiness?) He said "None of your fucking business, don't get in crap your not supposed to" and he went inside. So about another hour later, he starts abusing his dog, and I could see him through the window. He threw the dog against the fuggin wall. I had to do something. That night the guy went out with his car and left the dog in there, so me, my brother, and 2 friends opened the garage door and took the puppy.
We called animal control and told them the entire story, cops came and when they guy came home he was arrested. He was abusing the dog with his tools and stuff for no given reason, and they told me the dog was in bad condition, but can make a full recovery.
Poor thing, good to know he's in a safer place now.
