By the way do the buttons of the max size, pop-up and brightness work on Internet Explorer or only on Mozzila?

I like how it individually treats both widescreen and your typical 550x400 flashes, and enlarging those looks pretty swell.
Only criticism I have at the moment is that the voting bar now seems small and lonely.

I hate it. It sucks! It lags and messes everything up.

This sucks so badly. I liked the previous setup. Why the heck did you change, though?

i dont like the fact that theres no close button to close somefin and its automatically opened already. other than that good job. liked the tinted backround idea.

Not too sure about this new layout, though I though the same about the redesign before I really had a look around. I do think it was better with the awards at the top of the screen, don't know why I just do. The Author and File Info also doesn't look as good, it's too spacey. The voting panel looks no where near as snug as it used to, there's loads of grey around it.

One actual bug I encountered was when trying to go back. I had 4 pages of ads which I had to click back through before I got back to the front page. Anyone else get this problem?

I was caught completely off guard. I'm not digging the reformat right now. Maybe there could be an option to switch back to the old format?

Oh, and the four ad pages I had to go back through were just the same page but with a different ad.

I like it, but
I loved Newgrounds like it was and not like Kongregate, Armorgames et alii.
And think of this: Someone posts a flashy lights flash, with warning in the comment and an epileptic watches it and something happens! In my opinion this would be the fault of the new layout and NG.

Apart drom that: The "You might also enjoy..." laps over the text of the "Thank you for voting..."

I suppose I'll get used to it. It's a pretty neat idea, and I'm sure with time everyone will learn to like it.
The only "bug" I've found so far is one of the ad boxes blocking some links when I have AdBlock Plus enabled (which is always, unless I'm playing a game with medals). Picture included for clarity:

But yeah, you'll probably want to have an option aside to turn off autoplay, especially when you consider autoplaying flashes like the Weebl toons.

Where can I see the age restriction details (i.e. violence etc.) ?

I like the new layout quite a bit. My only major problem is how out of the way reviews will become, not nearly as many people will take the time to scroll down and read some. I suppose the same people that were interested before will still bother to look, but the casual review read and vote will occur much less often. I hope this doesn't become a lost aspect of newgrounds!

in the top left there is a little icon... a green E for everyone... a blue T for teen and a Red one for mature...

iv already posted my thoughts about this... i feel it still needs alot of work... but im strongly in favour of having the choice of new or old... or if it comes to it... removing it all together!

I really don't think that an autoplay option is a good idea. Spammers will make use of it to instantly spam the browser window with useless popups. They now can just swap the file once it passed judgement.
Also I hate auto play. I want to decide myself when the flash should start.
It really isn't that good if a big flash (like the street fighter collab for example) that takes ages to load (hey, internet in Europe isn't that fast!). Now I have to sit the whole loading bar to watch a big flash from the beginning. If I just go away and let the flash load then I might miss the beginning of it.

Also also, the pop up button doesn't seem to work in Opera. Nothing happens when I press it. The other buttons work fine, though.

To the layout itself: Well, it's different. I like that now the flash is so prominent on the page. Not the author, not the authors comments but the flash. That way people might just vote according to the quality of the flash and not look at the author, thinking "I don't like him -> 0!" or "a flash by clock crew will just pass no matter what I vote -> 5".
But it will take quite some time before I get used to it...

I don't understand why the buttons for enlarging, opening in a pop-up and darkening the background have to be in FLASH :-/

Another thing is that after pressing the button to make the game/movie larger/smaller, I have to press "Back" as many times as I've pressed the button, so that I can go to the page last visited.

And lastly, when you are viewing "Chuck's New Tux", the "You might also enjoy..." caption doesn't appear - only the games.

Overall, the new layout is super and attractive - nothing more to say :D

One of the biggest visual changes in a time, nice one.

Its OK Tom, but there are a few issues.

We know have to scroll even more to get to the voting part, people liked it where it was.
Effects the logo area and account stuff at the top, that should get effected even if it destroys a bit of the natural flow of the layout.

Maybe try to use the "lightbox" and do the wide layout stuff, I think itll be better.

I must say this looks REALLY awkward and cluttered. Any way we can change back to the old one?

it's nice and all but, really the zoom option worries me, some artists intend their work to be viewed at a specifice size for quality issues, if you give the artists no control over this, it could potentially lower their scores by people viewing the movies in the wrong size...
Please give the artists the option to restrict the zoomy thing and it'll be alright ;)

Wow, maybe if I actually took the time to watch a flash movie I would have realized that the thing I thought was an obnoxiously large banner ad was really a submission. Bleh, nevermind.

Also it seems to render much and much better with firefox than with internet explorer. And there are two black bars at the bottom, probaly already reported.
