I personally liked the old layout better. It bugs me to see the animation page take up the whole screen. I also think that it looks a lot more neat with the white space (black space I guess) around the page.

The new additions are pretty nice though! Being able to darken and brighten the screen and enlarging the flash size for better viewing was a brilliant idea.

Great work with the site, keep it up.

It's great! It'll take a little while to get used to, everything's in a different place, but it's a great idea, and I hope more is added to this later! :D

I love the new layout! The extra options are fun to play around with and allow a user to customize their viewing to their preferences, it's so awesome!

The only thing I'd like to see is the vote box moved above the author info (or the option to do so somewhere). Not that author info isn't important (far, far, far from it), but some author info boxes get quite long (especially on collabs) and the vote box is always short and simple. To put it another way, the author info would never get spammed off the screen by the vote box.

Meh. I like the old layout better. I'd prefer to have a choice what layout is being used (say for example, have an options menu or something when accessing your account).

B-B-B-BUT MY 46X46 ICON THAT TOOK ME TWO SECONDS TO SCREENSHOT OUT OF MY FLASH AND RESIZE IS G-G-G-GONE!

I take serious pride in creating my 46x46 icon. I know you still need them for collection pages, front-page featuring, and mouse-hovers in the portal list. But I will not stand for them being removed from the view page.

It's been a fantastic seven years NG but you really pulled a fast one on me here; I know when to take a hint. I suggest you delete my posts, reviews, flash submissions, and account itself. I'll have no traces of my name on this trash heap of html code you call a website.

I think this gives people more interest in others submissions (related submissions) than the authors other own submissions (as the author has been put down a lot on the page.

I think these should swap...

clicking the moon makes the fucking awful fucking laggy flash ads all around the page go away which lets the cartoon play smoothly.

meh this new layout is fucking terrible I wish there was an option for the original when i first opened it I thought my browser had downs syndrome.

This is new and will take some getting used to, but........... I can never vote on any under judgement flashs, it only says I have to wait for it to load even though I've gone through the whole movie/game! This is a big problem and I'm sure that I'm not the only one having it. and it is only on under judgement flashs, I can vote on everything else!

You can still open Flash in a pop-up as well, and the moon icon dims the lights, like the lightbox layout we had before this. Give it a minute to soak in and let us know if anything is totally broken.

Hmm well, only improvements I see are:

-light switch can be dimmed but making it light again doesn't work anymore, is it a bug? (browser: seamonkey)

-if you want to pop up the flash, it's impossible to do so without avoiding having the flash loaded in the main page. So the flash is running twice then!

Lilium is fucking terrible piece of shit and I dont think any artist with half a brain cell likes seeing it advertised next to their own work which they put effort into.

It looks absolutely terrible, why would the flash already load without a link? I can't see a serious need for that, people hand bandwidth to consider. It also looks terrible.

It's amazing, must have been pretty hard but it is pretty damn cool! also Im glad you didnt eliminate the pop up window option, anyway I'll not be using it that much now!

Id rather watch youtube then this terrible layout. Which is a real shame because NG has some great flash. Oh well, I guess i can go set up a account at that other flash site ive been meaning to check out.

I could not be more happy with this update.
The best thing about this is that it increases compatibility with phone browsers and other not as used browsers.
The only idea I could recommend to put on top of this "stack of shining awesome" would be to put flash movies in full screen (preferrably with respect to aspect ratio), for the users with the computer processing power to run it.
Other than that, awesome update to the layout!

Graphics look quite bad when resized up, I think this should be optional (the author should be able to choose whatever he wants support for that feature or not)
