Perhaps he didn't. Nevertheless the key phrase is "under the influence" which essentially means that he surrendered his self-control to a substance that was probably obtained for the purpose of screwing with his mind. He was ignorant of the potential risk involved and others had to pay a heavy price for his mistake. I'm done talking about this...

well I have heard some stories about cameras being used as eyes by being hooked up to the nerves. I don't know about how far technology has advanced but hopefully this kid will get his vision back eventually. also I hope this kids dad gets a "LONG HARD" lesson in manners while in PRISON.
