Are there any myths you don't like to hear about the opposite sex? things that you believe not to be true? or your own sex that isn't true?

Men- only like slutty girls. Totally untrue. Men want love as much as girls....especially on this site ^^ you'd never think there were a bunch of romeos on here. My dad and i were watching a film and this nerd was watching these skanks and his friend who was a very pretty girl and also in to comics but he ignored her for the hoes. My dad said it was because he wasn't in to her because he didn't see her as a "girl" i think that's bullshit. Any number of men would fall for a girl that was in to the same things as him rather than ditching her for whores who he doesn't even know. If i am wrong and giving men too much credit explain why lol.

Women- Yes most women give mixed messages. But men only complain because they don't want to figure it out. Sometimes the mixed messages get a little crazy. My teacher got angry when the girls in my class were complaining about never getting flowers becasue my teacher believes women should ask for the flowers from their boyfriends or husbands and they said "can't you just figure it out and just get it?" it's true. Yes it's a stupid game to play. But how hard is it to stop and get flowers on a random day? it's not as if she'll start throwing up unless she's horribly allergic. If anything it'll keep her more in love with you.

Your father is partly right about guys not seeing girls like girls. I'm not a lot like that, but at school some girl said she had D-cups and the guys were all "Wait what?!"

This girl really doesn't have an attractive behavior, so probably guys never took the time to think about her breasts lol. She's not physically unattractive, it's just her behavior that is a complete turn off.

Some guys don't see that a girl is a whore. Sometimes, their friends must tell them "Dude, forget that girl". Some guys like whores because they don't want a girl to be "annoying" (ie have a personality).

So again, these generalizations don't always apply. I do believe though that geeks prefer girls with a personality and despise whores. Hence why you think guys are Romeos here.

About girls and they're secret messages, I'm probably the kind of guy who won't understand them out of naivety.

I dislike when men or women say, 'Thats so typical of (add gender). Everyone is different, in their own way, and should be looked upon as so. Thats what i'm refuting. The whole "men are only this way" "women only are that way" i'm explaining exactly what MOST women mean when they don't say what they want because they want the man to figure it out. And that in general straight men do love sex but they also love a personality just as much.

Well in that case I agree with you 100%. Your 17 and worked that out already, I'm impressed. I have a 20 yr old daughter, and she figured it out early too, she does sometimes bring guys home that I certainly dont think are her type or that just dont suit her but, its her choice not mine. Her life to live.
And just for the record I personally am 'NOT' into slutty women. Attractive, petite, professional women do it for me.

1 serious issue:
Slutty girls.

So many times girls are treated like shit because they are sluts. They are mocked, insulted, their dignity drained and men hunt them down to have sex with them and then dump them just like that because they are sluts anyway.
Truth is, I don't think girls should be considered sluts at all. even if they are 'easy', they still are human beings and will have their personal loyal sides. If anything, a girl being a slut should be something positive. If they have experience in sex and know how to handle it well that's a good thing.

Besides, it's like they stereotypically say "If a girl sleeps with more than one person, she's a slut. If a man sleeps with more than one guy, he's a hero. (and the girls are sluts)" Honestly, if you're gonna treat people like shit because they are sluts, at least treat both genders equally as bad.

NO the point is that a majority of women are a certain way for a reason. Stereotypes are created because they are partly true. Does every women care about her hair? No...and saying all women do would be stupid. But saying none do is even dumber. A large MAJORITY do but not all.

I have a friend that is way slutty , like, I'm intimidated by how many men shes had sex with by the age of 16. Anyway, shes basically a genius.
