Can anyone recommend me some good movies to watch? I recently watched Requiem for a Dream, so please don't suggest that. As for genre, it doesn't matter. I'm pretty open-minded when it comes to watching a movie, anyways.

Ferris Bueller's day off. That's a great movie.
I recently watched Joyeux Noël, which was AWESOME.
Maybe you could indicate how old you are, it might help for suggestions.
My signature was old so I changed it.

Maybe something from IMDb's top 250 movies of all time may interest you?

Some more Star Wars prequels , I never think they took off and I think there's a lot more story yet to be told.
More Jarjar and greenscreen also.
Somebody make me a cunting signature.

This, as for stuff that's actually in theaters the new Terminator flick and Next Day Air where actually--even surprisingly--pretty good. Don't judge a flick by its trailer, I went in with low expectations for both and they turned out great.
Also nothing beats watching a few Wes Craven horror flicks in the middle of the night in a secluded home with nobody else there.

I've seen most of the movies in theaters now. I especially liked Terminator Salvation, by the way. But what I'm preferably looking for are some movies that have been out for a while. Kinda like a cult film or something.
Don't ask me to check around, either. I wouldn't be asking here if I didn't.

Um...Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and The Host were the last two cult-ish movies I've seen recently. Both are fantastic, though be forewarned that the former is an unrelenting Charlie Kaufman-brand mindfuck and the latter is in Korean with subtitles.

This thread isn't getting a lot of attention, like I thought it would. So, I'll just go with my gut instinct on this.

You said you wanted people to suggest films of any description, which is what people have been doing. If you were looking for something more specific, just say so.
It's fairly obvious that if you ask people to suggest 'anything', then the majority of what they suggest isn't going to be to your tastes.

I never said anything about the suggestions. I merely said that the thread isn't getting much attention.

Watch all of these (in no particular order)
- Taxi Driver
- Shawshank Redemption
- All three Lord of the Rings movies
- The Dark Knight
Or for a simpler, more family friendly time, get high and watch Half Baked.
