You are wrong, don't judge Peart if you know nothing of him.
YYZ is a classic rock instrumental, Peart's best work is La Villa Strangiato by far.

My favourite drummers are Peart, because he's always so diverse and challenging with his approach to drumming.
Bonham, any man who played Good Times Bad Times has my respect.
Brian Downey from Thin Lizzy, underappreciated and underated, Bad reputation is a brilliant drum track and his work on the Black Rose album is terrific.
Ian Paice.....Burn...nuff said.
Nicko Mcbrain and Clive Burr of Iron Maiden, Clive's work was standout in a metal world dominated with double bass and "Thump it hard" approach.
Nicko's ability to mimic a double bass pedal on ONE PEDAL is sheer class.

i wasnt judging him badly, in my earlier post i said i liked him. in fact hes my second favorite drummer.

Neil peart is the best, other than that i go with Mike Portney or Danny Carey, but my favorite and the best out of all of em Is hands down no contest Neil Peart.
