However, if the wish was contingent on appearing selfless I would change that to the power to give powers to anyone but myself and the knowhow to do so. I would then seek out someone I trust deeply, give them the power to give powers ONLY to me, have them give the power to give powers to myself to me. And give them the power to give powers to themselves in return.

During my childhood I spent years planning out such a wish in case the situation ever arose where I'd be able to get said wish. I had one, very long, daydream that lasted a good decade or more based off of that very idea.

Wish I was God, can do whatever what I want.
