So anybody in the West Mass/Connecticut region will recognize this guy. He runs these commercials day and night where he claims that he's a good ol' country boy and he just wants to get you the best deal. I think he has the worst advertising campaign in history.
Exhibit "A" - Here we start off with a very aristocratic looking lady as the classical music swells to emphasize the sophistication of this "Good ol' Country Boy" from...Connecticut?
Exhibit "B" aka - THANK YOU RAYMOND - This one's the kicker, Tom, out of the goodness of his ol' country heart saved this woman from poverty by pawning the possessions of her late husband. Obviously a bullshit story, but it's the intention. Whenever I see this commercial I just think WTF?
I mean, if he's going to spend that much money to run commercials 24/7 you think he could have at least hired an advertising team to write his commercials. This is just ridiculous, what does NG think?

My band Sin City ScoundrelsOur song Vixen of Doom
HATE.
Because 2,000 years of "For God so loved the world" doesn't trump 1.2 million years of "Survival of the Fittest."

It's not that hard to believe that a good ol' boy with a country-fried accent comes from CT.
After all, George W. was born here too. The fucking phony.

Good Ol' Tom looks like the kind to have a hidden past, or a deep, dark secret that not even Mrs. Tom would know about. What's he doing with all that gold? Is he utilising it's non-corroding, high conductive for some secret project?
Fortuantly, Good Ol' Gyro done got a special offer on foil hats!
Thanks, Good Ol' Gyro!
...and with that post, people of Britain were so surprised that "tea was spilled, crumpets were dropped and monocles everywhere popped out in shock."

It is probably cheap for him to run the commercials as he probably runs them on channels nobody ever watches.

If that story about the husband was true, I bet she killed her own husband.

Those small local commercials always amuse me. You think they would get better writers for those them.
