See what I'm talking about? You went straight for the heart? INSTA FAIL. They die immediately when you do that! You have to start at the small parts, pinkies, toes, ears, facial features.... let them learn what it's like to have something small permanently taken away from them. Then take away something bigger, so the fear grows EXPONENTIALLY. You also have to let them get away sometimes, let them think that fighting back has a PURPOSE, that way they weren't innocent victims, they had a fighting chance, AND THEY FAILED. They suffer because they are WEAK, and if they were only stronger, if they were only better, if they'd only tried harder....

Why? The soul is the most important part. The body will shut itself down when subjected to enough pain. The soul has no such function. Once I have possession of the child's soul. The pain I can inflict is infinite.
