Ah here we go. The second page is twice as good as the first one. I was about to start asking questions on why the art pieces seemed a bit cheap after me and you tag-teamed the other story thread.

It's looking good now. You're shading in the work, and you're branching off from common memes and styles and working on your own.

Let's see what else you can do.

dave was asking me why my drawings in the "There I was..." thread were shit and on this one are better, that's cuz I'm fucking lazy and I just put effort on my drawings sometimes, but I promise that my next post in "There I was..." thread will be something like those drawings.

As you can see he is holding a Mac-10 (Right Hand) and a Sniper Rifle (Left Hand), it was supossed to be a scout, he also appears at the "So there I was..." thread.

Now that last one is very good.

I have one idea that could help you take your art a whole step further.

At the moment we have a good shot of your character, in a casual state - and we can see all of him. Now let's try putting him in scenes (pose him to them).

Practise your special effects when drawing these scenes to help narrate what is going on and what the mood of the scene is meant to be.

Here's some examples of posing your character, they alone describe the scene a little, and with more scenery drawn in, you start getting a real story.

The fact that they're sticks also helps focus on their pose and not any fancy visuals - they come in later.

Sure, man. Don't worry about it. And your drawings aren't crap. They need some work, and you'd really benefit from a better drawing program such as Photoshop, but they're not crap.

Hmm. I don't see what all the fuss is about. I'm pretty sure Mr. Molotov drew the good pics aswell as his half-assed ones. Why? Well, I don't know about you guys but I can see the same drawing style in both sets of pictures.

Just take one of his not-so-good pics, then add shading, and more definition and detail - and you have one of his better ones.

Now let's just stop fighting and see more artwork. It's not jaw dropping no, but that doesn't mean it can't be. The Lad's only 14, so let's give him a chance. It's not like reanimator54 - who is 17 and as many of us know, is the most vain, mediocre artist I've seen in the past few months on this forum - And STILL we tried to help him right?
