I say:
DS
Mii/charachter creator
less item powers/more fighting skills
individual storylines/story mode in 3d
You will find out in the distant future what will be in the next SSB, if any is made.
Although I do agree on the Mii support part.
Sakurai has already said in several interviews that he has no plans to make another sequel. Besides that they've released one with every new console, so I don't see why they'd release two for the Wii.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
A 2D fighter with character development.
Just perfect.
hey
The DS was released years before the Wii was. Why would they release Smash on Wii and then Smash on DS. A DS Smash would suck anyway. Those games should stay on home consoles.
A character creator would be extremely terrible.

Jump! Stars, and Jump! Superstars would like a word with you. They're basically Smash Bros. on DS, but with anime characters. Play as Luffy from One Piece, InuYasha, a bunch of Dragonball Z characters, etc.
My PSN ID is xscoot. Crazy, huh?

That's true but it's a different kind of system, it's not like they are releasing something on the gamecube.

Yeah, the freaking DS, which plays worse than the Gamecube.

It took seven years for brawl to come out after melee. Plus I don't even think that Sakurai is going to make a 4th game.

Just because Sakurai isn't planning on making it, doesn't mean there isn't going to be one.

Only people who take the game seriously would want that, and it probably would never happen because the majority people who play this play for fun

True, but it makes it less likely and if there was one made without him the chances are that it would be awful. Why do we need a sequel anyway? Feels like Brawl's barely been out, and even though I don't have my Wii on me, I was playing Melee years after it came out with no anticipation for a sequel.

So? Why play an inferior portable Smash when you can wait for an even better, amazing game on the next home console.

but it's on the same level as the N64, which has the same power as the DS and did fine with the first game.

Another Super Smash Bros. won't really cut it for me unless they have corrected the problems that I've seen... I won't go into detail here.
There's no way Super Smash Bros. will make a comeback. Brawl is as stunning enough as it is.

Ha Ha! Nice joke, made me Lol.
No matter what your weaknesses are, make sure your own abilities supersede them.
If there is another one coming out it probably wont be for years because there is usually one released per system.
if there is one i hope they put in characters who aren't pretty much the same as other characters, like fox, falco, and wolf or lucas and ness

Oh please not this again.

Oh please. What problems? I've seen your rant about clone characters in Brawl but I'm not sure if it was a failed troll attempt, or what.
It's been little over a year. The next one won't come out until the next Nintendo home console. In 4-5 years or whatever.

For one is going to be the stage builder. Some objects took up unneccesary room which makes it difficult to build a stage to your liking, unless you hack the game.
Another is the story mode of Subspace Emissary. It was a step up from the Adventure Mode in Melee, but not much of a step. It was practically the same except for cutscenes and 2-player mode. Not bad, but could've been better.
As for the clone characters, I stand when I say that Wolf and Toon Link are pointless in the game. I've accepted Ganondorf, but I'm still not happy about it.
You could say that I'm just picking at some minor points, but when you have to find flaws in a great game such as Brawl then these are it.
The Mii compatibility ruins most games with the lack of originality. not to mention how out of place it is in games like animal crossing

But look it how well Super Mario 64 came out on the DS. It was even better than the original.
Surely, Nintendo could pull of such a feet with Smash. The gameplay system could work, if Jump Superstars is any indication.
When all else fails, blame the casuals!

I heard Super Mario 64 of the DS was a cheap remake with shitty controls. I never hear anyone talk about the DS version, only the N64 version, and Sunshine.

Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and DEFINITELY Super Smash Bros. Melee >> Jump Superstars.
Playing Brawl with the DPad on the Wiimote as the navigator freaking sucks. Everyone is using something with an analog stick.
The Ds thing does sound pretty cool.
I would like it if they took out stickers.
And maybe let your video's a little bit longer.
I don't know what else to expect in SSB 4.
Maybe on the next sequel ( if there will be) they would make the stage creator more better without having the unnecessary space of objects like what The-Great-One said.
Also how about doing more with battering weapons? Instead of having the standard, strong, smash, and running swings, how about a lower strong and smash swing, an upper strong and smash swing, and mid-air swings?
Also about the landing recovery (the action where when you are flung with heavy damage and before you hit the wall or floor, you hit the shield button at that moment to land safely) they should make those easier.
I could go on about this....
Just how exactly does "getting laid" solve any mental problems? Hmm? /:7
