They shoot bullets that explode into black holes!! And have three legs, which alone makes them 50% better than most other enemies. what more does one need in a videogame?
Any of the Colossus from Shadow of the Colossus.
Takes you ages to bring them down, and they are epic in size and in power.
This is a Prime piece of real estate below.
Gears of War Beserkers. They are fun and easy to kill, but if you make a wrong move, you lose.
No matter what your weaknesses are, make sure your own abilities supersede them.
The Necromorphs from Dead Space always did appeal to me as some of the more kickass video game enemies I've fought.
the half life 2 walkers. those are so fukin cool yet so fukin scary the first time you see them
II MY ARTII DEADFRONTIER IIMy YoutubeII
I have to say Dr Eggman from sonic he can build an entire continent and everyone who plays smash bros. knows how cheap sonic is Eggmans like the underdog of all villians the one who uses his brains rather then his brawns

I have to agree. Epic music plays when you beat them as well.

Than I would have to go with the Locust in Gears of War.
They are scary in a way, and on insane difficulty are really hard to take down. Much respect to them. Or should I say, to the developers. Very impressive.
also, covenant in Halo?
The Hunter from Halo 3.Sure they have a weak spot but one shot from that green laser and you're dead. Respect.
Can you see this? Probably not. Douche.
nobody has said pyramid head?
he's just so lovable :)
from what i've seen the enemies in prototype will be pretty impressive.
lolhydras.
Exploders in inFAMOUS.
God I just want to backflip someone, but they have such speed and burst right to you.

IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE THEY'RE ACTUALLY PATHETIC HAHAHAHAHA
Anyway, I have to say the Hunters as well. The AI is realistic, the cool sounds, the bullets are deadly, and just the model...they're awesome.
Alien Warship or the Alien Hunter in Crysis. Taking them down was hard, but so rewarding.
What a shame, Mister Jensen.
I never asked for this, Mister Denton.
The Covenant in Halo.
I always thought they looked cool, and on legendary they could provide a solid challenge.
You should totally add me on one of my various game accounts:
360 - Malachi117. Steam - Malachi117. PS3/PS4 - NarcolepticCat.
The drudge Berserkers in the Conduit.
They look a lot like the Half-Life monster, just they're a bit bigger and have four legs and can throw tanks at you. They're epic. Wait- Perhaps the best part is the fact that, during scripted events, they ram holes through buildings.
Berserkers from GoW are pretty badass.
illicit makes a damn good signature.
The Gargantuas from Half-Life 1. Man those things were so awesome. The only way you could kill them was with and air strike and zapping it with electricity. And they could kill you in like 2 seconds.

This ^9000. Seriously, they're amazing.

Epic enemies like the Scarabs in Halo 3, the Big Daddies from Bioshock, and any Colossus from The Shadow of Colossus...
Ezekiel 25:69
: "He masturbated with great vengence and furious anger, striking those who
: attempted to poison and destroy his unit..."
The Iron Knuckle from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
The third colossus from Shadow Of The Colossus!!
Freaking Epic...
Death is not to be feared, Death is but another stage in the never ending cycle.
I think Lavos from Chrono Trigger is a more suitable foe...
Galamoth from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
LEAVE ALYX ALONE YOU STOOPID HUNTER :(
(Just started Episode Two)
But I have to say the most epic enemy would be the Tank. Seriously, you're going through a campaign, shit's going real well, then that steroid trippin' mofo comes in and kicks up your shit with his monkey ass arms. Fo real.
The Helghast are probably what makes Killzone 2 so great.
