If that were the case (and jedging by people saying it was banned for boobs and panties), that would mean that all GTA titles and practically everything from Japan would be banned.

This is not censorship. The publisher cancelled the localization of the game, because they believe they won't sell as well with an M rating. The government has had no involvement in this whatsoever.

I don't get why it was so bad for this game to get an m rating. I can think of many popular games that had an m rating that still sold millions of copies. It's not like stores couldn't display it on shelves, although i can imagine many keeping it under the counter.

The main thing is this. Why is the game rated M? Soul Calibur 2 and 3 both had very jiggly boobs and plenty of panty shots.

The Manga is awesome, and even more explicit than the anime (2 versions, the first sucked) and I'm assuming the game too.
