rough outlines in CS4

Hey,

I'm using CS4 and when i draw anything, the lines come out as messy look. Even with smoothing it's easy to see shaking when working on detail. Any advice on how to clean up the drawings?

What i tend to do when going for a "clean look" is to use a bigger brush than normal, draw the outline. and erase the inside and outside of the outline so its smooth!

Use the pen tool.

The tutorial's for Photoshop, but it's the same basic concept.
