Yes, this is the smartest post in the thread. A lot of people would say "why do you care what assholes like him think about you?" and the answer is that I don't, I only give him what he deserves for disrespect.

in my school if you start laughing at an insult no matter what social rank you are you go down by at least 2 spaces. nerdy laugh 5 spaces. HAR HAR HAR laugh 10 spaces.

and do any of those to one of the coolest you go to the bottom of social pit.

I've never, ever heard someone talk about "social rank" or "popularity spaces" seriously before. Actually, I've never even heard the latter at all before. People in my school usually pay absolutely no mind to social class when gauging insults and how stupid the insulter is. The main insulters at my school are the people who have a GPA below 1, or the ones that smoke marijuana.
