Whats wrong with me!?!?!

Hello fellow falskdnmalsdm balh

is it only me? but i just cant come up with an idea for flash..im trying to think of an animation for 6 MONTHS and nothing comes!!! and when im trying to think about a character.. its just impossible theres no way im making a character without stealing at least one nose style or head style from other designers...

what should i do?! IM FREAKING OUT!

As was said in South Park, everything has been done before. You can't NOT be ripping something off at least a little bit. Just hope no one notices.

That's incredibly true, doesn't mean you can't still make something good. Just play to your strengths.

Stop freaking out, as you aren't getting paid for this flash, you aren't going to be judged by some college board for this flash, and you aren't going on a TV show with this flash. You are making this for your own personal enjoyment, so if you aren't enjoying it, then stop. Possibly later you'll come back and be able to sit down, relax, and do it as it should be done: As a hobby.

Here are some tips, I am no flash artist... hell I can't draw for shit really, but read it anywho, as it helped mah artistic friends

Before you start drawing, just think about what your character is gonna be like: Mean, Horrible, Slik, Shy.
Just try and get as many as possible that would relate to the character in your head.

Then think of what hair would go with them, then eyes... thinking about size and proportions and how they will enact with each other.

And work your way down with nose, body proportions/height and anything else.

You sir, either have no talent whatsoever or you have a ton and are therefore a perfectionist.
If it is the first one, then please give up now and save yourself the ulcer.
If its the second one... calm down bro, you cant -force- a good creation. It's just impossible. So just mellow out, wait for an idea to come, and dont worry about stealing stuff, mmk? If you do end up stealing something, if you didnt notice a majority of the population wont either, and if you do? Well yea... everything has been done before, and I assure you, the few that notice wont really care unless you outright rip off of someone else. *cough* like Kid Rock *cough*

If so,
do a parody of final fantasy one,
which involves melons.

You don't have to be original to come up with ideas. And to the OP, having a writer sucks. Why would you give away the best part of making a flash, which is thinking an awesome idea to animate? It's like decorating your house. Don't call a House decorator to spoil your fun.
