Just completed the original Bioshock (disappointing final boss ftw) so will definitely be buying this when it hits.

I assume that the drill is a hand-held weapon rather than a replacement for your hand entirely.

Not too sure about the drill... but, if you take a look at the devdoc called "hunting the big sister," you will see that the drill can in fact be swapped out for a wierd lookin gun.

Very boring looking suit. I don't know why we couldn't just have been a big, well, Big Daddy. They could run in Bioshock, just couldn't turn as well. Fine with me. The whole game is about atmosphere, we SHOULDN'T be running through the game world anyhow. You miss so many beautifully put together nuances that really bring the game together in the end. I honestly wasn't a fan of the first games combat, or plasmids, or upgrade system, or truly even the story. It was the world, and the pace at which you move through it that really made the game enjoyable to me.

Your going to play as the original Big Daddy, the very first one created. The one your thinking of are actually the newest types made, who had extensive plasmid splicing done.

Your going to play as the original Big Daddy, the very first one created. The one your thinking of are actually the newest types made, who had extensive plasmid splicing done.

I gotcha, when I first heard you could play as a Big Daddy I thought they meant the bouncer model to. Still, playing as a Rosie that can use plasmids will still be great.

Well, the Big Daddy has pretty much become the icon of the Bioshock franchise. So it's understandable that they're trying to mix things up a bit, but not too much.

Don't care if their chashing in. As long as they create a deep story like the first one, and don't whore the series like so many other developers, then I'm fine with the route they're taking.
