For some reason when i load on my 46x46 gif little icon picture...it just doesnt look as sharp as everyone elses....why is this??

what can i do to improve the image quality?

You are using MS Paint, right?

I don't know exactly why this happens when you save a .gif file in MS Paint. It happens to me as well. What I did was download GIMP, a free image manipulating program. It has never happened to me there, the quality of the .gif images are great. So I recommend downloading it, it's a great program.
