Well, tonight I accidentally dropped my $300 Audio Technica AD-700 monitors. I caught them just as they slightly tapped them ground but I think I've broken the wiring as they just don't sound right now. The left headphone makes this weird ass resonating sound whenever hi-freq' instruments are playing and the right one sounds like it has more bass than the left. I don't really feel like paying another 300 hundred for a new set so, can I get them repaired or am I fucked?

yep. My m-audios recently broke. bx5a's. 350 new
They were under warranty so I shipped um back to m-audio, they repaired them for free and shipped um back. takes about a month,
parts and labor can ussually get expensive for repairs, but not as much as buying new monitors. so contact your monitor's maker. they will be able to tell you more than i can

If you've got the gear you can fix it yourself. Monitors are by no means complicated electronics, and spares are readily available at a fraction of the cost of getting the repaired for you. That said, you need to identify the error and faulty parts in order to fix it, but if you've got one working monitor and one broken, and damage way physical (likely, since you dropped them) you might be able to spot the damage by looking at it.
Else, you'll at least need a multimeter to figure out where everything is going inside and which componenets aren't performing properly.

Not game enough to fix them myself as I know, I'll only make matters worse. I'm gonna' take them back to the shop I bought them from and see if the guy there can help me out. I suspect that it's not the actual speakers that are broken, just the cord that I so intelligently grabbed as they were falling.
Anyways, I was just looking for reassurance that they could be fixed. I don't give a shit how much or how long it will take. The joy I get from making music is worth more than any amount of money and if I have to buy new monitors, so be it.

most things like that can be repaired, as long as the monitors themselves didn't take too much of a pounding, however they will charge you a shed-load for the labour, so make sure you get a full quote first as it might end up costing just as much as a new set of monitors, hopefully not.

Well, could you easily and cheaply get a new cord for it? Im not sure how much work that might take, but it might be a useful shot...

Only if it's the cord that's broken, reading about the problem it sounds more like a PCB crack in the monitor that is somehow causing sound leakage across the amp. You're lucky it's not feeding back infinatly, that would blow out your drivers - the most expensive part :O
If you can't get them repaired, take them apart and put the drivers on e-bay as spares, someone will have them.

Considering that they're headphones, that isn't much of an issue. Plus I'm not even sure if that's electronically possible :P

Turns out my ear was blocked because I had a cold (I didn't have any other symptoms then though so I had no idea my ear was blocked). I took them to get fixed yesterday and today, the guy called me back and said they were fine and I should come in and test them myself. So I went in and said "I've just gotten a cold and you know how.." and before I could even finish my sentence, he goes "Your ears blocked you dickhead". Oh, the luls were had but I agree with him, I am a dickhead.
