PSP/PS3 Famitsu Scans are out. There's a similar picture of Raiden looking like a cybord ninja badass in it, so it looks like he'll be in the next countdown. How exactly would the two of them work in the same game? If you thought the story of MGS was convoluted before, imagine what Kojima could do if he's putting multiple time lines into the same game. :P

Erm, maybe it's not in Latin. Either that, or the translator's screwy, but it gave me "MILITAIRES SANS LIMES"

It means Soldiers Without Borders in French. Probably a reference to Outer Heaven.

Couple of interesting possibilities on the Famitsu article.

1. The game will cover multiple time periods, thus allowing cyborg Raiden and middle-aged Big Boss to be in the same game.
2. What we've assumed to be Big Boss is actually Johnny (Akiba). What we've assumed to be Raiden is actually Sunny. It might sound ridiculous, but looking at the pictures, it's at least a possibility.
3. What we think is Raiden is actually Gray Fox.
4. Raiden travels back in time and actually is Gray Fox (my personal favorite).

Well, what if this dude is not Big Boss, but another Big Boss clone.
Hidden Sun, not meaning snakes infiltraion, but a hidden Snake clone.

I like the idea. Hidden Snake. Sounds catchy.

Also, with it looking like this 'Snake' is a Mercenary, it could mean squad based sneaking, maybe solo-sneaking. But imagine multiplayer sneaking, that would be epic as to all the stuff you could do. One dude acts as decoy, the other coming up and taking out the soliders from the behind.

This will be a sequel to that PSP game, where you could kidnap and recruit people to raise an army. A middle aged snake means he has defied Zero and now is starting his own mercenary army. Maybe it will have multiplayer in the story mode. Snake did have his own squad, much like The Boss did.

I'm going to avoid rampant speculation and say that it COULD be Gray Fox, the slight hint of orange in the suit leads me to believe so anyway.
