pffft, more like green and black. Heck yes they were though.
Best part of the 90's though had to be.. the bigger the holes were in the knees of your jeans, the more bad ass you were.
I also rocked a gnarly mullet, and hardly even got second looks.
Hey! Your 17 just like me. Looking back, the 90's were amazing.
The cartoons were funny, the economy was booming, Clinton was fucking every girl in sight. It's amazing how time flies. Your right, I remember the VHS and being pissed because I couldn't find the one I wanted. I remember the original Playstation and spending hours upon hours playing Crash Bandicoot.
Man, I'm going to miss those days. Everything is too convenient now, hard work is good for the soul!
I have no complaints being 17 though, which is in my opinion the best age there is. We got to experience that amazing decade, and we get to take advantage of the advances in technology of the current one.
good times.. good times...
Fuck yeah.
Nirvana
Pearl Jam
Soundgarden
Alice in Chains
Green Day
etc, etc.

I've lived through the 80s and 90s at least. The 00s has been a very, very depressing decade. It's about on par with the 30s or 40s.
90s sucked balls. I don't miss 56k AOL or lacking a cell phone, or any of the corny shows that were on TV. Music was all right but I can still listen to it... so whatever.
I'd much rather be born this decade, technology fucking rules.
Good music, Pokemanz, Playstation, N64, other things..... damn the 90s were awesome.
still blows my mind that N64 is older than some of my cousins. hell, i remember the day i went to wal-mart and bought it! maybe im getting old too....
Don't worry, Canada has free health Care
I just remember staying up late nights with my friend and playing Super Mario 64 until 5 AM. I also thought "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" was the scariest show back then.

Yes but I'd rather relive the Clinton years than regret my last 8.
I remember going to Sears with my dad to buy our Nintendo 64. We got two games with it: Super Mario 64 and Turok: Dinosaur Hunter.
The old man didn't let me play Turok at first. I look back and laugh my ass off at its "M" rating, because it's incredibly tame by today's standards.
Good times, though. Good times.
Sigs are overrated.
I think someone should write a version of "We Didn't start the fire," only about stuff from the nineties. The first part of the song could be like: Furbies, Pokemon, Pee-wee's Playhouse, Bill Clinton, DBZ, Kirby, Star Wars Episode One.
I... I think that would be cool...

Hey, remember how on top Nintendo was during the 90's? NES was still around until 91, when the SNES came out. Then there was N64 for a while, and then, in 1999, Nintendo started development for the Gamecube, which was buy the way, was a very underrated console and was total awesome compared to the Wii.

Well I assume you people went through the same train of thought all us 90's children are going through now, you just have to feel even older as you have two distinct generations beneath you now HA.
I am mid 90's-00's , I was born in 1994.
I still have quite a lot of nineties stuff, and it will not die in our house. I still have a CD player, cassete player, analog radio, VHS and a classic phone. The first Nokia.
But I think that it would be best to livei n the 60's. The best era ever.
The early 90s were like America's golden age. The best music, unemployment was at a record low, the economy was great, terrorism was still mostly domestic, and we still hated ourselves because we were so fucking cool.
Cartoon Network at it's prime.
MGS graphics being revolutionary and ahead of it's time.
Resident Evil actually looking scary.
Huge lo-def TVs.
Toy Story, Bug's Life, basically Pixar at it's peak.
Disney at it's peak.
Basically, the 90s had a lot of stuff at it's peak.
The 90s were fantastic. Reading this thread was such a nostalgia trip.
I'm sorry, but I think my favourite thing is Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
The sig that I'm wearin? Awesomely made by Skaren!
Also, I like annoying Americans by calling English football "real football" and American football "rugby".-Lost-Chances
Pokemon episode 1 and AOL really stick in my mind, getting Mario kart and Majoras Mask for the N64, thinking my SNES is old, I also had some really old game system, it was like a pc and you put floppy disks in to play games, I think the only game I remember playing on it was RoboFish or something like that.
I miss kids television from the 90's.
SMTV Live and Live & Kicking motherfucker.
Baby Britain.

I remember almost everything about the 90s even though I'm only 16. I miss that world without iPods and it makes me feel old to say I was born the year the Internet was released to individuals.
It's time for An-i-man-i-acs
And we're zany to the max
So just sit back and relax
You'll laugh till you collapse
We're An-i-man-i-acs!
Does anyone remember that online channel that plays 90's television shows and movies 24/7?
It's been posted on NG a few times but I can't find the link anyway.

Wonky Donkey and Shaven Raven.
N64.. Wow now I feel older. I remember when that and the PS1 were the best consoles ever. I can remember playing the Commodore 64, that's how old I am =(
God, I actually feel the same, and I'm only sixteen. So much happened in those sixteen years, most of it is loved by me. The music, the film, the technology, the history, etc. Brilliant. That's the thing about time, as well: that's not going to slow down. There's going to be world-breaking news ALWAYS in the future.

Christ, that brings back memories. I thought she was a shit singer, but still, brings back memories! :]
90's was the best decade. Specially for gaming. We entered the 90s with the Game Boy, and left with the Dreamcast, that's fucking major.
Not to mention the whole death of Glam and rise of Grunge and Alt. Rock goodness.
