Stupid Kids on Their Bicycles.

In the past two months, I've nearly had four accidents because some kid on their bicycle thinks it's an okay idea to cross the street when I'm within short distance of them. Thank god there hasn't been an accident to this point, but the last one came WAY too close. I about clipped the kid's front wheel and his left leg as he swerved right into me. I swerved real quick to avoid him, and thank god there wasn't any oncoming traffic that could have caused a wreck.

Fucking kids and their bicycles. Keep them on the sidewalk, you wankers. >:(

Whats worse is when they walk, all in a line taking up the whole street and when you want to pass though they think your the bad guy.

I always ride my bike as close to the sidewalk as possible, staying well clear of cars. I don't go on the sidewalk because it's too hard to avoid the people.

But I know what you mean, I often see little kids up to the age of like 11, going all over the fucking road. And I always tell them to stay off the road coz it's dangerous.

Actually, in many places it's against the law to ride a bicycle on the sidewalk. When properly ridden, they should be the right most travel lane, traveling with the direction of traffic. Drivers behind them should treat them as any other vehicle.

Their parents should have taught them bicycle safety. Which means they should know to look left or right before crossing.

I say they have it coming, hit them... if you don't want any violence or parents pointing the finger at you (which would happen) then I suggest you honk your horn at them and shake your fist at them like the old person you have now become.

One time this dumb kid on a skate board rolls right in front of me while I am driving. He was heading toward me on the sidewalk then right when we almost pass eachother he tries to go across. I break but still hit him. He flew a few feet off the board and his board was crushed. I go out to see if he is ok and his mother comes yelling and threw a small rock at my head.

I try to explain but she calls me a liar and that her husband will kill me. I am so glad a few people that saw it happen came up and help the situation.

In the end the mother hates me, father (who got there 10 minutes later and is kind of scrony and 70's nerdy) tries to avoid me either suing or beating him up, and the kid just has a scrape but is enjoying the sympathy from his mother.

That isn't how anyone is going to see it when you kill or severely damage a kid. Chances are you are going to feel guilty too, even if they half planned you hitting them. (For whatever reason someone plan that.)

Where I live in the uk, we have bikes paths on the roads, why don't you talk to the counil or town hall about it.

Also as for the kids for messing on the roads, I like the idea of bleep at them and swearing at them, always works for me.

Actually, there was nobody around. The kid was just riding his bike in circles outside of the mechanic shop in our town, and then just decides he's going to try and cross the road as I'm coming past the shop. I think I recognized the kid in question, too. He's one of those deliquents that roams the streets with all the other idiot juveniles.

This kid wasn't wearing a helmet, either. Come to think of it, I've never seen anybody wear a helmet when they're riding a bike around town. Everybody probably thinks:

"Oh, I'm riding my bike at a safe speed. Nothing's going to happen."

Just wait until something really happens. Then they'll think twice about their decision not to wear a helmet. That is, if they still can.

Here, here! A few years back my mother was driving out of the drive way when some little fuckers decided to cut her off and she had to swerve into the ditch. Little bastards think they rule the streets.
