I have lived in the Getto gang ridden parts of Houston and Kansas City and I have never been shot, or Beat up, Robbed. I have delt with drugs and Gangs, i have had my share of Illigal and bad thing that I took part in still...

I do not understand how you and so many other judge our country from Shock Videos and other statistics made to show the Utter Insanity that is America. I never see any of the Good things we have showing up here.

Family's, Kids/ Adults Sports, Kids getting educations ( not all schools get shot up), The Buildings and Architecture, our Monuments and Landmarks, National Parks, Our creative people that live and Move her to create Entertainment, Medication, Institutions to further help places and Country's that need it..

America is a Dam good place to live, we have our issues and Gang Related murder and Violence is a big one. As well as Obesity and heath concerns, but not all Americans are fat, lazy or trigger happy Cops/ Criminals. Millions live in happiness and don't experience this Ugly side that most watch on video and some experience

Yes I have seen it, and yes it is quite shocking. The movie is quite old now though isnt it? Like 20 years old or something. And I'm sure if you search hard enough you will find Killings of America 2, just as shocking and disturbing. Certainly both are not for the kiddies though.

This thing with shooting in school every week at the moment sounds crazy. In germany were one killing frenzy the last half year and everyone was shocked and made a big deal of it how could this happen. A lot of people and especially parents were afraid of that.

A friend was in america for 3 weeks and someone stole her mobile phone of her handbag in a shopping mall at the 3. day. ( I guess.. very very bad luck ) And she said, she carried the bag all the way with her and closed.

It's not that bad... there's a lot of crime but it's not usually random crime.

There's a lot of criminals on criminals crime. Drug dealers killing other drug dealers or gangs killing other gang members. We get a lot of 'overaction crimes'... fights in a bar turning into a shooting outside, or a broken home turning into a murder scene... but it's not like this is generally a dangerous place to live.

If you mind your own business and you don't go out of your way to give someone a reason to hurt you, you'll generally be left alone.

But you're more likely to. Even if the murder rate was 500 for every 1000 adults, the surviving half would still be able to say that they've never been attacked. You do not represent the whole of Cincinnati.

Obviously. Let me rephrase then. No one I am acquainted with has have been stabbed, only one has ever been shot, his fault, I've never seen someone stabbed, I've never seen someone shot, same with robberies. And where I play basketball is in the middle of the 'ghetto' and I play there almost everyday. The reason people get shot, usually is because they put themselves in dangerous situations. The are lots of circumstances that could raise your risks. If you're smart enough though, it's VERY unlikely you will get shot, stabbed, or robbed. America is not nearly as dangerous as people want to believe.
