This morning I received a text at 2:15am (GMT). It's not from anyone I know (not on my phone contact list anyway) but judging by the content of the message it looks like lame Internet humour, from which Newgrounds immediately came into mind lololol
The message reads:
"THE FOLLOWING IS A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: I AM IRON MAN. DA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NA."
I'm not revealing the whole phone number, but the last 6 digits are 293927.
Whoever did send the message, let it be known that I was not impressed by their tomfoolery.

I sent you a few actually, unless you didn't receive them.

If you posted your number on the BBS it's your own fault.
Either way, I laughed. Out of everything the person could have texted you...

Are you blind? It clearly says he's IRON MAN. Sue the Stark Corporation, and get a whole lotta money. Win win.

Would you post any of your personal details in a forum whose members occasionally enjoy subscribing people's e-mail address to gay porn websites? I certainly wouldn't.
That being said, I do remember putting my mobile number in the NG Stickam chatroom a few months back. There were only 6 people in the room, all of them respectable regulars who I knew. I don't think they would have done anything like this though, unless they gave the number to someone else.

I'm not annoyed about the content, I'm more annoyed about the awkward timing.

This.
Iron man was probably drunk, flying over some city like Paris or some shit and he decided to text everyone.

Black-Ops encourages your full co-operation in finding the culprit whose actions made me shat myself on hearing Kasabian's "Shoot The Runner" at max volume.

How much would it cost to send a text message across the Atlantic ocean? Same as any other text?

I think I sent a text to DGSGaming and it only cost me 10p as normal. It didn't go through properly though. Might be different depending on your package.

I never get txt messages so I might give my number, not sure if it's allowed though...
Is it? Oh well, I live in New Zealand anyway so most of you wont be able to send it...
